Which receiver formats can be converted to RINEX?
u-blox UBX raw logs (RXM-RAWX, e.g. from a ZED-F9P), Septentrio SBF files (both the compressed Meas3 blocks and classic MeasEpoch), NovAtel OEM binary logs (RANGE and the compressed RANGECMP), Trimble RT17/RT27, BINEX, and RTCM3 logs (e.g. a recorded NTRIP stream) — decoded by the same engine as the live Stream Inspector. Gzipped files are accepted; the format is detected from the frame structure, not the file name.
Does my file get uploaded anywhere?
No. The decoding and RINEX writing run entirely in your browser — the file never leaves your machine.
Which RINEX versions can be produced?
RINEX 3.04, RINEX 4.01 and RINEX 2.11 observation files, gzip-compressed. For RINEX 2, modern signal codes are mapped onto the version 2 observation types.
How accurate is the conversion?
The decoders are validated observable-for-observable against RTKLIB conversions of reference datasets — pseudoranges, carrier phases, Doppler and C/N0 agree to the RINEX printing precision (0.5 mm / 0.0005 units).
Can I just see what is inside a file, without converting?
Yes. Every file opens a record census — each message/block type and how many of each — and each type expands into a field-by-field inspector with a hex view. This works for any receiver file, including navigation- or almanac-only logs that carry no observations at all.
